Nighty Night Alex

I've received a request for help from one of the sweetest teenagers I know. She is redoing her bedroom and asked for some ideas and duvet suggestions. This is going to run the gamut, basically a quick flood of ideas. She is sweet, sophisticated and stylish with a little bit of retro-glam hidden in the mix. I'm starting a few of my favorites... the first batch are from Domino...
Love the traditional elements balanced with the bursts of turquoise and the chevron rug.
Add some drama and coziness with panels. A great trick, just use corner rod connectors and basic curtain rods.

Here are two great headboard alternatives... a decorative screen

and paint...

One of my favorites of all time, Kelly Wearstler's design for The Tides in South Beach. So glam.

Its all about symmetry.
Take note of the balanced night tables and lamps in the previous rooms.

I'm love Kelly Wearstler's bedding line for Sferra

Love how graphic and clean this look is
.

Linda Barker

Yellow and Aqua, beautiful! Love the sculptural piece over the bed.

Here are a couple of simple crisp duvets with a bit of graphic...

Thomas O'Brien for Target

Crisp and sophisticated, Overstock.com

I love the fresh aqua and orange color scheme of this bedroom,

as well as this set from PBteen...

Punchy and sweet, pbteenhttp://www.pbteen.com/shop/girls-bedding/index.cfm?cm%5Ftype=gnav...

Go graphic with this duvet set from Design Public ....

Go Black And White... I found this image on Style-File

and this bedding at Design Public

And don't forget a couple of great nightstands and a pair of lamps!

These two are from IKEA

Lamp from Target
