Sometimes I hate design.

Just when I think I know what I'm doing with my house I come across an old sample of wallpaper and completely screw myself up. I hate designing for myself, I wish someone would just come and make a decision for me. Why is it I can tell other people what they should do, but I can't decide or commit for myself? Having access to unlimited fabric and wallpaper samples just makes it worse.
I am a lover of color & bold patterns, and am the first to admit I can way over do it making me paint everything white and start over. I constantly sway back and forth between wanting things clean and neutral or going all out funky wild. I feel like I have design schizophrenia!
I have always loved this Osborne & Little paper and would love to use it somewhere... maybe in my bedroom on the wall behind my bed, or on the ceiling in the 1/2 bath... but I will probably wind up doing nothing because something else will catch my eye and start me spinning in a new direction. ARGGGGHHH!!!! sorry, just had to vent.

I completely agree and every designer friend of mine says the same thing. It's so hard to commit to my own place because next week I might see something better, nicer, more beautiful.

Welcome to the blogging world, nice to meet a fellow colour expert, there aren't that many of us around!
