All lit up!

I had a completely different post planned for you this morning, but when I signed on and started checking out my blog roll things unfolded a bit differently and my new path became "illuminated" if you'll excuse the bad pun.  Its no secret I am a light-a-holic, I have a very bad obsession and a basement filled with vintage chandeliers and lamps. Many need a few tweaks, so when I came across Sissy's great DIY  lampshade makeover at Blue Hydrangea it got me inspired...

I have many of my own that need an update quite desperately.
Then I happened upon  Green Street's post about Hillary Thomas' new online shop. I got really excited because she is the designer behind some of my favorite rooms. I adore her use of happy color and her mix of vintage and now...

She has opened her online store...
...and I am loving!
Lets just get to the lights first. Check out these stunners. Its like slipping a giant cocktail ring on your lamp.

And now for the ballgowns...

If you don't have a lamp to play dress up with she also has an assortment of hand selected vintage pieces...

WOWZERS...

And furniture and accessories too.

And just to make this a blog trifecta, I just came across Parlour's post on Esty shop Studio JOTA. They have a great collection of handmade fixtures and shades.

And while you are over at Nichole's blog be sure to check out the DIY on this light she made,
yes I said  MADE...

If patience is a virtue, that girl is a saint.
AMAZING!!!

Ok, I just recently did a post on Hillary Thomas after her most recent feature in Lonny. Couldn't agree more. She is one of my faves. Thanks for sharing her shop. I forgot it was open. I need to go take a peek.

Great post - very illuminating. Ha, couldn't resist. And yes, I love Sissy's shade too!
