"I HAD a pink kitchen." or "Testosterone, you need to chill.""

Being the only woman in a house of men SUCKS sometimes.
Example A:
my newly pale pink kitchen with yellow and orange happiness-*heartsandrainbows*
makes me happy & want to stay in here and cook scrumptious meals filled with love...

According to the testosterone in the house its *daggersintheeyeballs*

Look at the sadness to left now of paint swatches and crap. BOO, testoterone, BOO!
F*ing KILLJOY!

Don't do it!!! The pink is perfect! Tell 'em they can paint it when they want to be the only ones that work in that room.

You know what would look gorgeous in there (just for peace), would be gray - so beautiful with yellow...

The pink is so pretty... men they ruin everything! But the yellow is pretty as well.

Has your husband heard the phrase.."Happy Wife...Happy Life"?
Your kitchen looks gorgeous as it is! I wouldn't change a thing! If you have to change, a gray with a pink undertone would be lovely!! Angie xo

Don't do it! Why does he get to decide what color it should be?
Doesn't he have anything else to worry about? Does he get to make all the decisions? If you re-paint, you'll resent him for it.
I know I would.

NO NO it was perfect pink!! Even my husband likes it, tell ur hubby that! Gray would be a good back up but I don't even love pink and that pink with the curtain and everything in that room is PERFECTION.

don't give in - you deserve your little bit of pink!
(I wish you luck - I know it's hard when the whole family is ganged up against you)
good luck!

I agree - whoever does the cooking gets to choose the color!!! Tell him to put on protective eyewear and deal with the daggers!

Easily sorted....cook according to the mood of the wall colour! A few 'blue' meals will have them letting you go back to 'happy pink'! Annie x.

Tell them if Ruthie Sommers gets to have a pink living room (or some major room in her house), you can too. Just because you're outnumbered doesn't mean pink shouldn't have a fighting chance! I say boo too. Although, the yellow looks pretty. Would you change the curtains or just leave them?

Oh, I, too, LOVE the pink. So pretty. So calm. Love the new curtains and the art. I think the yellow will be WAY too energetic and drive you bonkers. I agree with Elzabeth that grey could be the answer....

if they can remember to leave the seat down for two whole months, you repaint. otherwise, stand your ground.

I think the lady of the house wins on this one. Go with your instinct and keep the pink!
