The "Crazy" Fabric

Ziggity Zig!
I got my zig zag fabric I blogged about a couple weeks ago.  I had intentions to put it in my living room, but the best laid plans fail sometimes.  I thought the pattern would be a bit larger.  It ain't.

It is now going in the family room (aka- the hell room that will never be finished, nor should it be because my kids destroy everything and it always looks like hell).
Its a bit crazy of a pattern, but it fits the room's energy of couch jumping and pillow fights.
I also got a bunch of other patterns in with it to make pillows with, but my sewing machine is still out of commission.  So I wait, with fabric draped everywhere.

On the topic of projects, anyone doing anything interesting this long weekend?  I'm talking to all you equally crazy folks that see a long weekend as a great chance to "relax" by catch up on your painting, building, and redoing instead of beaching it .  It is Labor Day, right?
Hope you have a good one!

Even though the fabric isn't what you planned, I like the curtains!

And, yes, I am one of the crazies who plans on laboring on projects all weekend. You are not alone!

I think it's an awesome print. I bet people will be too busy checking out the curtains, they won't even notice the kids' destruction zone!

I dig it!! Crazy=good.

I've got lots of football, lots of food and painting the laundry room on my agenda. Fun, fun and kill me now.

I've got painting a kitchen, installing a kitchen cabinet, painting a china cabinet, and installing shelving on my weekend to -do list. My husband is thrilled for my plans for his relaxing weekend.

That is some crazy zig zagging going on! love it! Perfect for couch jumping. I myself will be playing around with some of Martha's (I don't really need to say Stewart, do I?) new line of glitter paints and accoutrements this labor day weekend. should be fun!

It looks like very chic Missoni fabric! Love it!
No exciting plans other than finishing up the unpacking from our shipment and maybe sorting out some ceiling lights - the bare lightbulbs in this apartment aren't exactly attractive! have a great weekend :)

let's see: already added trim to guest room curtains, in the middle of sewing new pillow shams for the same room, might trim out the dining room drapes, and trying to convince my hubby that we CAN paint the girls's room with the girls here! Putting the "labor" in labor day.
