Fall Color Inspiration via Artist Peggy Kannenstine

I wanted to share with you a bit of color inspiration.  While visiting family this weekend in Vermont, I saw this painting in my sister-in-law's office.  Its by a friend of hers,

I have been a bit obsessed lately with yellow/greens and jade, (before I chose my current blog header I played around with these tones, see...)
so it was no surprised I honed right in on that painting the moment I walked in the door.
I especially love the little touches of peach and lavender.

I found more of her works online, and I have to say I LOVE her use of color. Totally inspiring, and makes me want to design a room around one of these paintings...

And I think these color combos work perfectly for the Fall season.  They are warm, but fresh and cheerful.  I definitely will be using them somewhere shortly!
What do you think?

The last one is definitely my fave. I sense some major inspiration coming from that one! If you design a room around one of these you better show us! :)
