This is still a work in progress, I will have completed pics at the end of the week. I'm really loving how this is coming out. These cabinets started out as basic maple IKEA Pax wardrobes with a brown stripe painted on them... see below..
Updated them with the left over fretwork panels I had from my sunporch project . I had panels of mirror cut to the same size as the panels, and then applied both to the doors. A carpenter made the frame surrounds and decorative panels below. Still need to add crown molding and knobs. They are going in the black guest room I've been working on for a client. (The O & L black Minaret paper is up so is the new chandelier, fabulous love love!)
HOW IN THE WORLD did you do that? Please, please, share your methods! These pictures are already wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOkay, pardon me for not reading! Now I see the steps you took. Der!
ReplyDeleteLove that bedding! Could you please provide the source?
ReplyDeleteThanks! The bedding (blue banded duvet & pillowcases) is from Williams Sonoma Home, the dustruffle and shams were made with La Fiorentina/ Blue 2430-GWF and the orange damask is Schumacher -Harmon Manor.
ReplyDeletehey, great job! I came across this today while surfing around the net for images. What color did you use in the guest bedroom or the one with the starburst mirror above???
ReplyDeleteThanks! I used Ben Moore Revere pewter in the room with the starburst and the guest room is a black on black zigzag wallpaper from Osborne and Little. I can't recall the pattern name at the moment.
ReplyDeleteOK I REALLY need to do this to some Pax wardrobes for our dressing room. Sadly I think they are a little too tall for the angled ceiling in the room. Must find another low cost wardrobe to hack like this.
