Painting my heart out...

I lost the battle of the pink kitchen.  SO watch out house, you are getting heavily infused with pink punches.  This is the current state of my entrance foyer...

Here it was at 5:30 this morning... blue.

I have actually been wanting to do a overscaled De Gournay-esque wall for a while.  I woke up ready.
I painted right over my wallpaper...
Made a little sketch...

and had at it...

At the rate I'm going I should be done tomorrow.
I'll clean it all up and make it pretty for you.

Oh, and how do you like my new dining room chairs I painted white and reupholstered yesterday?
Pink...

  7. You'll show them! There will be pink everywhere! I have purple everywhere in my house and for now my husband doesn't mind. I plan to enjoy it while it lasts. This looks incredible Danika! The color, the pattern, the scale, love it so much!

  8. Oh my gosh: LOVE. Incredible. The scale is perfect for your place--smaller would have been too precious. And I'm surprised how much I love the yellow in there. And feeling chagrined that I STILL haven't painted my girls' room after having the paint for, I don't know, 3 or 4 MONTHS???!!! Can't wait to see the finished product.

  11. You are one brilliant, bonkers woman! That wall is wonderful. WONDERFUL, I tell you. 'Just made a little sketch' eh? It would take me weeks and even then it would look dreadful. I'm not sure such stuff can be tuted online - I think it's a matter of talent - but if you think it could, would you consider a tutorial?

Re: Annie Loveridge Interiors' comment: I wish getting up earlier was the only thing standing in my way of something that amazing.

  20. Ok no wait. I have said this before and I will say it again. If you lived next door to me.....it could get ugly. I would force you to drink bottles of wine and craft all manners of stupid shit...This little stunt your pulling by dazzling the FUCK out of my eyes with this hand painted DeGournay wallpaper is REDONKULOUS.
