Today I am headed over to my parent's house for a day of floor painting.
My Mom (who is a bigger Pinterest addict than me), and fell for this floor and wanted to know if we can make this happen in their bedroom:
So my father laid a ton of reclaimed maple flooring he scored from a factory that was closing years ago. Hey, it was a great deal and you never know when you might need a boatload of wood flooring....

They had to store and move all this flooring TWICE before they moved to their current house. )
He planed, fitted and sanded it for days until his knees almost bled.
It is now ready for a fancy design..
So that is where I will be folks.
Check back Monday for the finished floor and hopefully a decent DIY.
(I think my fabric overload from yesterday will have to wait a bit.)
