The Mother Load has a new home

I'm passing the torch of fabric overload over to my good friend Cheryle Rhuda.
She has opened an Etsy shop under her workroom's name "The Whole Nine Yards", and will be dealing with all the fabric and remnants. It just made more sense because she is sewing genius, and we were getting requests for pillows and the like, so now you can shop for fabric and pillows, drapes, etc. in one location.
This is what we did Wednesday...
sort and photograph fabric for like ever!

Cheryle is a saint, and has uploaded all of them to Etsy store here
I still need to load all the leftovers from my previous post to her site, and I am  getting to it. With everything going on that little task just keeps getting swept aside. Visit them here, and if there is anything you want, let me know. (Hint* less work for me to upload later.)

Gorgeous Shiny Thing's will have an Etsy site as well, but I will be posting accessories, lighting, artwork, furniture and remnant wallpaper.  Thats another task I have been working on...
Here is my basement folks. Today is an exciting day because we are having shelving/ cabinets installed in the workroom area so I can finally deal with and organize all this...

Right now its just a big hot mess and all my goodies have been spilling out into the kid's playroom...

my dining room...

my office...

and the basement guest room...

It seems I have a lot stuff. A lot of big stuff. I have been researching how to ship big stuff and I'm still confused. Its one of the factors that is keeping me from posting on Etsy. If any of you shipping veterans knows a great way to estimate shipping, or what shippers to use please tell me. I'm new to this, just a virgin, and a table is way different than a yard of fabric. help.
I should probably just get a booth at a fleamarket for a weekend.

So stay tuned (I know I keep saying that and its getting annoying)
You can visit the Whole Nine Yards shop here. There are some great new things and lots of cool vintage chintz. And Cheryle is a saint and a machine.  I really don't know what I would be doing without her, rolling around in piles of fabric sobbing probably.
Have a great weekend!
I have a great new sponsor and a "sparkly" giveaway Monday that I'm really excited to tell you about.
XO

Oh, great news and I can def. relate. My house is cluttered with undone projects. BUT - I would make room for that gorgeous white headboard if its in your way : )

regarding shipping, if you can box it, I have found that FedEx home delivery is the cheapest. for furniture check out rates on Grey Hound's site. they will deliver to the closest station to your buyer and they have 3 days to pickup and then there's a storage charge after that.

Ahhhhh I love how you shared your 'hot mess' pictures, I have several but am a little shy about revealing them to the world! But maybe it would be liberating! ha ha...
THANKS!

Oooh, those random pics make me want you to get an etsy shop ASAP! Love the blue and white patterned chair that has the white and purple bins sitting on it and those canvas art prints are amazing!
