Its not that exciting. I Google stuff. Tonight's Google was "swag lights".
I stumbled on this. From my tiny 1" photo on Google I actually thought it was brass and was like "that would be cool", them I discovered it was a woven Tiki light. Still like it. Part of me wants to spray it gold though.
Here is the best part though, its only $80. I found it on a completely rando site that sells all Hawaiian all the time. Besides a few vintage items I really don't see myself on the market for How to Hula DVDs or a giant inflatable 8' Hawaiian Warrior. Maybe a gift for the person that has everything.
Anyhow, here is another one they had I liked and wanted to paint.
Just wanted to share. Back to Google.

I like the first one. Paint it that brass gold I use it looks like the real deal unless you know of a better one if so please share.
Fun projects!
i really like em both, but the 2nd one - the caned rectangle version is awesome!
That first one reminds me of a green glass globe swag light my grandparents had in their house when I was growing up. I wonder what happened to that...
Anyway, I think it would look pretty cool spray painted gold.
The first light is calling your name, Danika! Gold would be great!
