Idle hands and a boatload of fabrics is not helpful in my world. It just extends my to do list. So I waxed my kitchen floors today, because they are that OLD, and I had three consecutive half hours of being trapped in my living room. I played around with my piles of fabrics and came up with the above.
Since none of you lovers wanted this chintz with the gold faux bois fabulousity, I stole it back.
I whipped up some panels and stole a 1/2 yard of the blue ikat too and did up a lampshade.
Maybe I'm high on spring, but I'm loving me the 90's floral people.
The hubs hasn't noticed the girly addition yet. He is pretty good at turning a blind eye, and besides he knows it will be different in a month or two.
i just think its funny because I bitched about chintz a year ago, and now its hanging in my house.
Off to eat crow, and for the chintz haters... I understand.
Update:I think I was high on Spring, or floor wax, or the idea that Golden Girl floral could be made cool. Its feeling super busy today and a bit too "girly" for my taste. to large a dose too soon.
