Aqua, Coral and Yellow- Part 2

Found this image and fell in love.   I've already gone on about aqua, coral and yellow  once this week, but this color scheme is perfect.  Love the soft tone of aqua against just the perfect shade of burnt orange.  The whole space is just so airy and fresh.   And how fabulous is that wire coffee table?

Was filing away mags this morning and I came across one of my favorite color spreads. Lenora Wilcox Collins use of orange in this Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA residence is just to die for. I love how she interjects soft aqua and sand tones, making a relaxed beachy palette.

Fall is in the air...

The past few mornings have been chilly here in New England... 48 degrees as a matter of fact. Although I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to summer I am anticipating fall activities like apple picking, hayrides, cider doughnuts and taking the kids to the Topsfield Fair. It also has me gravitating to corals neutrals and chocolates as I come up with my bedroom color scheme. I figure I can amp it up with turquoise as needed.

I just love this entry (especially the Quadrille paper) and its casual elegance.

Orange you fabulous!

Here is my quick little "Ode to Orange", my current color obsession. Don't worry aqua, I haven't forgotten about you either.

Coral

I'm mildly dense, it takes me a little longer than it should to see the obvious. While trying to come up with a color palatte for the new house I came across this little beauty in my style file and thought "Thats it! I'll do coral! I already have tons of turquoise to work with." So I start gathering some images and then I sign on to my blog. I feel like a moron when I see that its the color combo for my page. Oh well, I knew there was a reason I liked it... its late and my brain (which a moment ago felt so inspired) is tired. Here are some pretty pictures, I'm off to bed.

Wow, sorry so teeny. I just bought a glass top Parsons console at the Crate and Barrel outlet today for $49 buckds and plan on painting it coral for my entry. Should look similar to the above bed.
