My favorite "room" of my house

Its not technically in my house, its my covered porch.  I had a great balmy Easter and spent most of the day puttering in my yard and fixing up my porch.  We live in this space once the weather warms up, so we want it to be as multifunctional as possible.
Its right on the back corner of my house and gets a great breeze from the ocean down the street.
I hung my mosquito netting back up (I HATE bugs).
I also found a home for my cool lantern.  I was editing my inside and most of it came out here.
Note the rug from my kitchen.  I just couldn't handle cleaning it constantly with all my kids spills.

Where I lounge with a mag and mojito...

I hot glued this mirror together out of some giant scallop shells I sprayed gold and a random octagonal mirror...
Now, if only the weather would warm back up I could enjoy this space!

I love it! I've got a back deck that is in serious need of love. Thanks for the inspiration.

So Jealous of this! It's already gotten really hot in the south. The nice weather is so fleeting here. I've been working on my yard mostly so my actual patio could really use some help!

Looks awesome! I jealous our porch has no roof so when we chill on it we get sun in our face! Boooo.

What a great space! You would need to drag me off that porch! And the textiles are to die for!

Oh, I am so jealous! I've spotted about 70 bajillion things I want to steal from your porch!

In the picture with the two chairs, is the purple item a lamp? I would love to see another picture of that item!

Your suzani rug looks perfect out there (as do the rest of your pieces). And I love the light fixture out there. I could spend a lot of time out there! We have a screened in porch but it's so hot/humid in the summers here that it's pretty miserable.

Claire-
The purple thing is a big glass hurricane I found at Homegoods. I will try to put a closeup on.
Lily-
I found the orange and purple Ikat at a fabric store. I wish I knew who made it, but there is no manufacturer on the salvage. Next time I go back I'll ask.

It looks so summery. I love the colors and the feel of the room. It makes me want to redo my outdoor patio even more than I already wanted to.

wow ...amazing look! I thought about adding sheer drapes to my old patio...but opted for opaque ones pushed aside. I like your idea much better! LOVELY.
