Please excuse my crappy cell phone pictures, but you need to see this...
Hello you big lovely beast!
While hitting up the Salvation Army in Saugus I found this unbelievable deal. Check out the vintage pagodalicious bedroom set. I nearly died and tried justifying why I needed it. It was marked down to $299 from $549 too. Was this a test of spending wills? Maybe I could just take a little piece of it home with me. No! They wouldn't split the set, because I could have crammed the nightstands in the back of my car and balanced the mirrors on each side of my poor 3 year old. Check out the bed though. I wanted that too, even though its a king and I have a queen. I really don't think I could split the set up, its all so fabulous.
If you live near Boston, RUN and get it.
Please.
I need to stop thinking about it.
It. Hurts.

You're so lucky, our local 'Sally Army' was barren last time I visited. Someone else will love it too. Trust.
Oh, that is just PAINFUL! Wish I were oh, say, within a hemisphere of that!
I would RUN there and buy it if it was only a little bit closer!! What a find!!
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one salivates over furniture :) BEAUTiful!!!
OMG! I only live about an hour away!!!! Must. Have. These. Hopefully, they will still be there this weekend!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the tip :)
ooooh, the pain, the agony. Great find. Don't you hate it when you find something and either can't buy it, don't have room for it, or already have something like it (like my chair addiction.) It's awful. Hopefully someone else can benefit from your find though. That was very noble to share it. ( =
Oh my--you know I LOVE that! Makes me think of this craigslist steal that I couldn't justify, though I was SORELY tempted! (It was a whole set, too, though it had just one twin bed and I would have needed two.)

Maybe it's time to upgrade to a king? Good excuse to get this set for yourself ;-)
Good find! Hope someone is able to get it!
I know who got the amazing armoire that went with this...;)
I guess I'm subscribing to the "If you love something let it go..." theory. Hopefully it will come back to me one day.
Julie- OMG! I need to see it! I bet its unbelievable!
If I were you, I'd buy the set, keep what I could use, and sell or donate the rest. If you don't, it may haunt you for years as the one that got away. If I bought it (and I would in a heartbeat), I think I'd paint it red or turquoise.
OH. MA. WORD.
How will I ever sleep tonight??? Thinking I won't make it from Cali in time. =)
Wow!! That's awesome! I hate it when I see stuff like that at thrift stores. It makes me want to build a storage unit in my backyard. :)
OK, I think I need to pay you or bribe you so that next time you find fun things like this you call me first :)
I'm so annoyed they arent open on Sundays because the last two Sundays I drove right past tehre on my way to NH for my wedding dress fittings and it was like torture not being able to go in
Ooh, this hurts. I hate that feeling - letting the good one get away because you simply don't have another square inch in the house. Can't believe they wouldn't break that set up. Major bummer.
