Bri, this one is for you...

Bri, the goddess from You, Me and a Wiener suggested I post pictures of the other mirrors I was considering for the boys room.  I thought that was an extra fabulous idea because I haven't an original post idea for you today.  Thank you Bri, xxoo.
I have one kid home sick who was up coughing all night, so I am extra dumb today and I'm starting to get their cold too.
OK, so  I love the Pagodas, but they are feeling a bit fancy pants in the space so I swapped a pair from my bedroom. The only reason(s) I didn't do this to start with is because I plan on adding the matching Pagoda headboard to my room and didn't want it to be all matchy match. Also the white pagoda mirrors were doing magically delicious things to my brain against those blue walls. My bedroom is plain light beige.
So here they are... Camera 1:

Bri, please note the wieners.
Camera 2:

Thoughts, feelings, emotions?

Oh, I found the same mirrors on Pieces for $1285 for the pair. Have I told you how much I love thrift shops and yards sales lately? Seriously go hit some. I got mine back before I had kids for less than $20 for the pair.

Speaking of children, I had my meanest critic yesterday.  Shortly after I posted their room, Thomas got his Under-Roos all in a bunch and decided he hated everything and it all had to go. I told him if we were on a design show the host would be crying.  Turned out he had a low grade fever and was hungry. I still feel sorry for his future spouse though.
And Joe is not impressed with his work space. He still likes the kitchen table.
 Oh well.
I'm off to play nurse, attack this pile

which keeps growing because of "Mr. I need to change my clothes every hour because it has a drop of water on it or I need a green shirt",

and try to get nap time to happen so I can catch up on some work.
Ah, Mother's Day. You were too short.
Have a good one folks. And I am always open to post suggestions too;)

Option 2 then sell me option 1 for your $20 steal.

I actually love either set in the room (helpful, I know.) While I can see the appeal of the overall simplicity of your bedroom mirrors in the scheme, something about the pagoda's pointy shape feels good with the spindles on the beds.

You kinda can't go wrong--don't you love that?

I'm pretty new to your blog but I love what you've done in your boys' room! Personally I love the pagoda mirrors there...they may be a little 'frou frou' but they're also dramatic and awesome! :) And that's my two cents...

I personally like the one with the straight line. You have so many great things going on in that room and I think those compliment rather than compete. Either way though love the white and what you have done. Plus your boys are ADORABLE

I like the newer version a lot. What a cute room. They will appreciate it someday, sigh. Kids can be quite persnickety can't they?

My vote goes for option 2, they seem more "boy" to me (the mother of two boys). I would love the pagoda mirrors in my house, but my yard sales do not have the cool stuff that yours do. I totally dig your blog. You are an inspiration to my color-phobic self.

I think option 2 is more boyish. I can't imagine it will be hard to find a place for option 1, but if so, I'll be happy to take them off your hands ;)

I like option one. I think it really made the room and option two is not as fun :)

While I think both mirror works really well in the boys room, I vote for the pagoda mirrors. I just think the pagoda mirrors tie in so perfectly together with the spindles on the beds, like what Heather Peterson said.

Pagoda all the way!

I love option 1, they add such drama to the space. But option 2 is probably more appropriate for a boy's room.

Th second ones!!!!!!!! I think they compliment the campaign dresser and beds better. Plus they let you notice the wall color and wonderful curtains a lot more than those attention whore pagado mirrors. Which are still awesome btw.

If only we lived closer to eachother...... I think our husband would hate it. Their wallets would be dry bahahaha!

I prefer #2 for the boys. Why don't you give those gorgeous pagodas a fresh coat of paint in a bold colour and then they could work in your bedroom. What a score you got on those!!

I love how their room turned out! Unfortunately, I cannot be of much help because I see things exactly the same as you here: love the pagodas against the blue, but option two seems more masculine. The good news is I don't think you can go wrong either way. The pagodas are not overly feminine where you can't get away with them here, and alternatively option 2 looks very nice as well. I think I would decide based on which I prefer in my own room, and then give the boys the others. xo

I think option 2 is more masculine, but they both look good. Keep whatever you like more for your own room and give the boys the leftover.

My three year old is on his fifth shirt and seventh pair of underwear today. Wear it for ten minutes, throw in the laundry, cuz its dirty.

I prefer the straight lines of option 2, as they don't compete with the bed spindles. To sound like an economist ("on the other hand..."), Pagoda looks good too and the difference is only in the comparison. Lucky boys - their room looks fab x.

Okay, I was just about to say how the straight lines of option 2 look great with the campaign dresser, and then I read Bri's comment. Great minds, right?

But, yes, the pagodas do pop against that blue. Decorating dilemmas suck. I still vote for #2.

Love those pagodas, so if you don't use them here use them somewhere else. Would they work painted red somewhere? Red pagodas make me clap my hands and do a happy dance.

Also, your boys are adorable. Hope they are better and you kicked that laundry's ass.
